Mom's Lemon Meringue Pie
3 Eggs separated
14 oz. can of condensed milk
½ cup of lemon juice of Real Lemon
1 graham cracker crust (recipe on the side of box of graham cracker crumbs)
¼ tspn cream of tarter
1/3 cup sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In medium bowl, beat egg yolks, stir in condensed milk and ReaLemon juice and pour into crust. Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until soft peaks form, gradually adding sugar, beating until stiff but not dry. Spread meringue on top of pie sealing carefully to edge of crust. Bake 15 minutes (check after 10 minutes) or until meringue is golden brown. Cool and chill before serving, although I don't because it toughens the meringue. Refrigerate leftovers.
