You are on a flight from Honolulu to Chicago non-stop. There is a fire in the back of the plane. You get enough time to make ONE phone call. Who would you call?
My big bro Eddie...geez, that would be the most difficult phone call EVER!
You are at the doctor’s office and she has just informed you that you have approximately one month to live. What would you do?
First, I'd call my brother :-) Then I'd take every penny out of the bank, quit my job, see the places I've always wanted to see (London, Paris, Rome), say goodbye to all my relatives, throw a huge party and invite everyone I've ever met..tell people what I really think of them...and pray the doctor was right :-)
What is your happiest childhood memory?
Hiking in the North and South Carolina Mountains with my Mama, Daddy and big bro.
What were you doing the last time you really had a good laugh?
Chris and I were working on the Magic M orning Show one day, when a lady named Ruth called and had us rolling...I did a Woody Woodpecker impression for her, and that was it, she couldn't stop laughing..then we couldn't stop laughing...we play the call every now and then on the air for a good laugh!
What is the first thing you notice in the opposite sex?
Eyes, then teeth, then wallet..
How big is your bed?
Queen
What is on your bedside table?
A candle, a pen, a journal, a lamp and a book (at the moment it is "Twin Flames," about finding your soul mate.)
Is there something you've dreamed of doing for a long time?
Acting, Singing and Dancing on Broadway...then my life would be complete!
Favorite websites?
Facebook, Mapquest, Magic 98.9, Fox Carolina, Accuweather, Pier One, World Market, HGTV

Nope...ripped out at the age of 24...they said ice cream would help...they lied!

You are on a flight from Honolulu to Chicago non-stop. There is a fire in the back of the plane. You get enough time to make ONE phone call. Who would you call?
I would call my sister, Sara Winn. We have always had a special bond since my parents died when I was a young boy.
What is your happiest childhood memory?
At a very early age, perhaps 5 or 6, on those hot summer days in Darlington, S.C. my parents would take me and my friends to swim in Black Creek where the water was always cold and we all had so much fun, topped off by eating sweet local watermelon.
Who's the funniest person you know?
I have always enjoyed laughing to the stand up routine of Jerry Seinfeld and of course his T.V. sitcom was very funny too. I also like to laugh along with comedian Jeff Foxworthy.
What is the first thing you notice in the opposite sex?
Their personality and charm are the attributes I first notice in the opposite sex.
What is your happiest memory?
Christmas morning as a kid is my happiest memory. Mom, Dad, Sister and my Grandparents would all be there to open presents and sing Christmas carols.
If you were not doing this, what would you be doing?
I have , since about the 8th grade been facinated with weather conditions and how patterns in the earth’s atmosphere generate our various types of weather. So, I would be a metorologist with the National Weather Service.
Is there something you've dreamed of doing for a long time?
I have been very fortunate to have worked for a number of fine radio broadcast companies during my broadcasting career. I have always dreamed of having enough money to buy a small local radio station of my own and program it with the best songs, mainly oldies, local and national news reports and Friday night high school football.
What do you do in your free time?
My free time is usually in the middle to late afternoon and weekday nights. I have been involved with compiling a big music library from my years in radio, reading a good non-fiction book, excercising on my ttreadmill or walking outside on nice days, some yard work and eating out in some of the great restaurants here in the upstate.
What makes you bored?
When you work in the radio business, there is not too much time to get bored. There are always community events to get involved with and fun concerts to enjoy but I do get bored with the really bad reality shows on T.V. I do a lot of channel surfing to try and find funny and uplifting shows.
Favorite websites?
I do enjoy Facebook to see what my internet friends are saying, people magazine web page, weather underground and ESPN to follow my favorite college and pro teams.
What do you think would be the hardest thing for you to give up on?
Oh….that’s an easy one. It would have to be anything chocolate, especially cake, candy and brownies. My sweet tooth is gonna get me in trouble one day.

What is more difficult for you; looking into someone’s eyes when you are telling someone how you feel, or looking into someone’s eyes when they are telling you how they feel.
As long as nice things are being said, I’ll look anywhere all day long! And I’m sure they won’t have a problem getting lost “Behind These Hazel Eyes!”
You are on a flight from Honolulu to Chicago non-stop. There is a fire in the back of the plane. You get enough time to make ONE phone call. Who would you call?
The Boss. “Whoa oh oh I’m on fire.”
You are at the doctor’s office and she has just informed you that you have approximately one month to live. What would you do?
First call up Tim McGraw and thank him for singing my theme song for life now… Second, stalk Keith Urban. Who cares if I get arrested, I only have one month to live anyway. And once I share my story he’ll probably write another hit song all about me!
What were you doing the last time you really had a good laugh?
Wondering what it’s like to be a pony in “Mony Mony.” I am not lying.
Who's the funniest person you know?
My best friend in the entire Universe. My sister Stefanie. Girl can make me laugh.
What is your quirkiest habit and how long have you had it?
I could quite possibly have a slight case of OCD. I don’t take the product sitting at the front of the shelf in any store. I always take it from the back. For 2 decades I’ve been doing this. It’s pretty embarrassing when in the frozen food section in the grocery store and I pull a frozen meal from the back of the shelf, shift something the wrong way, and everything surrounding comes crashing down in front of me. Yes, I hear the snickers and the gasps… but that’s alright because at least I’m going to put the fallen meals back on the shelf in an orderly manner so that they’ll stay put.
BTW, I blame my Dad for this.
If you were not doing this, what would you be doing?
Trying to get Monnie into a recording studio to sing Michael Buble’s “Home.” Blake Sheldon had a number one hit from the remake… why not Monnie! And as her agent, I would get 51% of all sales. Man, I’m greedy. I hope she doesn’t read this ;)
What is on your bedside table?
This little box that has red eyes that jolts me awake every morning at 7:00am. AKA, an alarm clock. A cute little teddy bear that my husband bought me and a fairly expensive jewelry box (he bought me that too) filled with rather inexpensive jewelry (I bought that).
What is the thing you love most about yourself?
When I am looking in the mirror and singing to myself Peter Gabriel’s “In Your Eyes.”
What makes you bored?
I don’t know that I’m ever really bored… Girl “Works Hard for the Money!” I don’t like it when I only have one thing to do as opposed to 4 things to do. But I’m usually stuck with 5 or 6 things to do at any given moment, and that’s not because I am a procrastinator, it’s just how I operate. I’ve always got to have something going on… and my husband finds that slightly annoying. |

You are on a flight from Honolulu to Chicago non-stop. There is a fire in the back of the plane. You get enough time to make ONE phone call. Who would you call?

You are at the doctor’s office and she has just informed you that you have approximately one month to live. What would you do?
Wish I would have died in the fire that was on the flight heading to Chicago.
What is your happiest childhood memory?
Getting picked on by my older brother and then getting him in trouble for it.
What is the first thing you notice in the opposite sex?
Her face. Her eyes and her smile must compliment one another.
How big is your bed?
It’s big enough to give me difficulties changing the sheets.
What is your quirkiest habit and how long have you had it?
For about 10 years, I’ve been very uncomfortable with any control being set on 13. I’ve missed a lot of shows on ABC.
Is there something you've dreamed of doing for a long time?
I want to shake the hand of Dave Matthews.
When was the last time you lied and to whom and why?
It was in the summer of 2008. A listener walked up to the tent with her baby and I said he was adorable. A Halloween mask couldn’t help this poor child. It made the mother feel good though!
Have you won any random awards? What were they?
I won some kind of award in school for being smart. Now I’m a radio DJ. What happened?
